The 36,887 SF Fire Academy included
a 180 seat Auditorium and 6 Instructional Classrooms and Cafeteria
/ Lobby with seating for 148 people as well as an Apparatus
and Training Bays. The Fire Marshall’s Office will house the
Fire Chief’s, the Watch Director, Administrative Staff and
necessary support spaces. This $8.4 Million Dollar facility
design was successfully bid at $7,696,000 in February 2007.

room and improved drainage in the floor. The interior has
been modernized to support 24-hour crews with new bunkrooms
and living areas, an improved kitchen and dining area, offices,
showers and locker rooms. A fitness area and a bay for the
company's antique ladder truckas well as a meeting room have
also been added.
