Cinnaminson Township School District Additions and Renovations – Four District Schools

As Architect of Record, Garrison Architects has assisted the District in submitting NJDOE Round 4 ROD Grant applications seeking $10 M in grants for renovations atthe New Albany Elementary School consisting of a new canopy at the main entrance, new entrance vestibule and new nurse’s suite, and a main office reconfiguration.  Similar renovations are included for the Eleanor Rush Intermediate School and Cinnaminson Middle School.  On September 30, 2014 the District passed the $40 M Bond Referendum.

The building program for the High School includes parking and sidewalk improvements, roof replacement and restoration, brick repointing, painting of exterior columns, window sill repair, selective window replacement, interior door modifications some for ADA compliance, PE locker replacement, corridor ceiling/lights, shower modifications, improvements to the Gym, new kitchen equipment, new carpet, removal of VAT and replacement with VCT, interior painting, new classroom furniture, HVAC system various improvements, and various electrical improvements. Also in this Bond Referendum proposed building program is a new main office and second floor Science Labs as well as Auditorium toilets, office and storage addition and a second question for a 1,000 seat Gymnasium.

The projects were successfully bid in the Spring of 2015 and Hessert Construction was awarded the contract totaling $23 M for Phase I and II which were substantially completed for occupancy in September of 2016.
